API Business Models

What is more interesting is API philosophy when applied to the business models throws very exciting possibilities. The same micro-services thinking can be applied for a construct of an organisation. Most of the organisations of today develop internally with the view of control. Most of the business models that we encounter are centralised with monolithic IT systems. When we are thinking about changing monolithic IT systems into micro-services based API architecture, why not apply the same to the business models.
